I believe.
Because He Can- By Only For The One
My foot out the door,
And my head in the sand,
By the desolate shores,
On a barren land.
I sit here despondent,
My heavy head on my heavy hands,
But my heart says to me,
Don’t you understand?
The Creator of all,
Allah the Most High,
He Hears your calls,
And responds to Your cries.
The One won’t let you down,
This you must understand.
He’ll make a way out for you…
Because He can.
I believe. I believe. I believe, in The One.
Allah will take me out of this mess and distress,
And soon I’ll be blessed, so soon.
Soon.
Wondered the lands in deep melancholy,
The poignant memories appeared right before me,
Was I hit on the head?
Because it’s been erased from my memory…
I no longer want to know or hear or see,
Whatever is gone and it’s history.
Time to move on and grow,
I’m convinced Allah will rescue me.
Because He can.
I believe. I believe. I believe, in The One.
Allah will take me out of this mess and distress,
And soon, I’ll be blessed, so soon.
Soon.
I have hope.
They call me The Cope…
But I’m okay with that,
And I accept that trope,
Because I believe, I believe,
I believe in The One.
In Allah alone I hope.
I trust Him, no matter what life brings
For sure it’s all from Him…
Al-Qaadir, He is able to do all things…
And,
I will never give up!
I’ll rise and I’ll stand
And I pray that The One helps me find my way,
Because He can.
I’ve witnessed great miracles. And without a doubt, I believe Allah is The Creator, Al-Qadir (He is capable of all things).
I’ve been in situations where I thought this was it, game over… but He showed me clemency and gave me another chance.
I’ve felt like death was round the corner. As if heartbeats away from the end. But The Ever-Living One gave me life.
I’ve fallen, prostrate and humbled to The One.
“If this is the end, Ya Allah, please forgive me and be pleased with me. I bear witness that there is no true god worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is Allah’s Final prophet and Messenger (upon him be peace).
I believe and continue to believe.
And, I’ve been at the brink of destruction. But Allah rescued me at the eleventh hour.
So, I won’t worry about anything. He has my back forever and after…
