A Life Without You, Is a Life Not Worth Living.

A Life Without You, Is a Life Not Worth Living.

Alas, we’ve seen pain, we’ve seen destruction. We’ve seen blood, we’ve seen death. We’ve seen murder, we’ve seen loss and loss of life. We’ve seen grief, we’ve seen suffering. We’ve seen injustice and we’ve seen oppression. Without a shadow of doubt, the current affairs of the world have our hearts heavy.

We’ve seen things we cannot unsee. We’ve heard things we cannot unhear. We’ve watched from afar. But we feel so near.

Narrated An-Nu`man bin Bashir:

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 6011

One Body

The ummah is one body. When one part is pain, the rest of us feel it. We don’t resign to failure. We act. We find solutions. So what action should we take, what can we do? What can we do to stop the persecution of our precious brothers and sisters of our Ummah?

We can spend in their aid. We can share their stories. We can speak out. We can supplicate to The One, Allah.

Oh Allah, everyone seems to have turned their backs on us, but You will never abandon us. We believe.

Only For The One
Never Feel Helpless, For indeed You Have Allah! Only For The One

Lessons to Learn

We can learn.

Learn from our people.

I see the faith in our people. They value their faith. They value human life. They value what they have, no matter how little, or what little is left. They value the deeper things in life. They’re grateful. They’re resilient. They’re hopeful. Despite their loss of their closest loved ones. Despite the devastating destruction. Despite their injuries, despite their disabilities, despite their harrowing new reality, they have not lost and never will because of one thing…their faith in Allah.

Our losses as a ummah, are a reflecting point for us all.

In our own lives, we will, have and are facing loss, to differing degrees. We will recover, God Willing.

But if we become weak, ungrateful, hopeless and subsequently lose faith, we would have lost out indeed not only in this world, but in the eternal life to come.

A Life Without You, Is a Life Not Worth Living.

So we ask You, Ya Allah, to keep us firm in our faith. Grant us unwavering belief in Your Oneness, make us the forerunners and courageous adherents to Qur’an and Sunnah, allow us to live and die upon Tawhid and Ikhlaas. Perfect our intentions, our knowledge, our actions and our da’wah. For all the loss we have in life, please compensate us in this world and the next, and protect us Oh Allah Our True Protector, protect us from ever losing emaan, protect us from ever losing faith and belief in you.

Because a life without You, is a life not worth living.

Only For The One.
